My family chose the FFFU16F2VW upright freezer for 3 reasons: 1) it is made in USA; 2) it fit our limited footprint space; and 3) it provided good value. My only suggestion is that a 90 degree outlet plug would have provided a better fit. Otherwise it works great!

This freezer is great! It easily stores our 1/4 cow beef, with much room to spare. The shelves are so convenient and movable. We love the option for the door to open from either side! We decided to go with Frigidaire after hearing so much good reviews and personal recommendations from friends.

So far, loving the freezer. The open door alarm is a little startling but definitely effective haha. I also love the idea of the floor light indicator as to status of operation. No complaints thus far! (2 weeks in)

I™™ve had the freezer for only a couple weeks, but it works well, is quiet, feels like it™™s made of quality materials, seals well, and the frost free feature works perfectly. When I moved food over from my old freezer it had a small amount of frost on it. That was gone in a day. Hopefully I get some miles out of this. My old freezer lasted 25 years, the bar is high!

It's very difficult to write a review since I have only had the freezer for less than 30 days. So far, it is working well with less noise than the previous freezer. We ordered a "garage ready" model, as it is placed in the garage. During the cold weather that we have been having, it has adjusted to the colder garage temperatures well and is keeping the food inside frozen solid. I do wish that the freezer had a front handle that could be pulled to open the door rather than the indented space on the side of the door. The indented space is fairly deep, so allows a fairly good hold, but I can imagine that it would be possible for your hand to suddenly slip out and broken fingernails could be the result. Also, I would think that this type of door opening would be more difficult for someone with arthritis in their hands than a dedicated handle on the front would be. I suppose that the indented opener was selected to allow for more compact measurements. We chose this Frigidaire freezer model because of the many good reviews about it. As time goes on, I am hoping that it lives up to its good recommendations. As I said, so far, so good!

I recently bought a new Frigidaire upright freezer, replacing my old, still working 27 year old Frigidaire freezer. Bought a new one for energy efficiency and frost free version.I have always had luck with Frigidaire products in the past, so I stuck with that manufacturer.This is a nice sized freezer. Happy with it so far!

This is a great addition for my food storage. Found the inside lighting beneficial and certainly makes it easy for finding products. Lots of storage space and the green light on the front of the freezer is a great addition to know the freezer is working.

We have only had our new freezer for a little more than a week (the reason for only 4 stars) and are happy with it, even though we waited 3 months to get it. The delivery guys were great and very careful when they brought it in and took the old one out. They answered any questions we had also.

I currently have 2 Frigidaire products broken! Both is less than 2 years old! Both bought brand new and 1 in under warranty the other is not!1 bought from Lowes and the Other a Appliance store! The 1st one the refrigerator is on its 5th repair.

I love my new freezer. I was really sad when my 70 year old freezer died but am really enjoying the new features. I love the lights, the shelves, the ease with which it gets to 0 degrees F. It™™s so easy to see what is on the shelves. The green light projected onto the floor is a very easy check to see that it is working.

I've always had a freezer. I didn't know about Garage ready was a thing. I purchased a new freezer for my garage and the sides and top of it stay cool. This was not what I had in the past. So pleased. The only thing lacking for me was a lock when the door is closed.

This freezer has been a gamechanger! I went from a chest freezer that always seemed cluttered and couod never find anything, to this spacious upright with shelves that hold all my soups, baked goods and meats and chickens. Great Freezer! Spacious and good organization. A lot of space and the shelves and bin and the door shelves with guards are so very important for organizing your groceries. Has a light to show that is functioning and the temperature alarm is a great selling point. I would highly recommend. The size is still compact to fit into many homes and spaces.

Last model 1 cu foot larger only lasted 8 years. This model states garage ready, did not realize this was an option. As this new unit is in a utility room hopefully it will have more longevity. It sucks when your freezer stops working and is full of food!!
